Lauryn Hill did not perform in Lagos, Nigeria Friday (May 1) at a piece of May Day Live as booked, by post on the rapper-artist's Facebook page.
"We are disillusioned to report that we won't be performing at this evening's show," Hill composed on her Facebook page Friday. "From our end, we did all that we should do, including sitting tight at the air terminal for a long time, prepared to fly out and offer the night with you. Shockingly, after much exertion, the promoter was not ready to get the majority of our travel plans dealt with. This kept us from having the capacity to fly into Nigeria so as to make the show. We were all extremely eager to come, and exceptionally frustrated that we couldn't make this one. Notwithstanding, we are attempting to reschedule our appearance ASAP."
Hill says that the promotor advised her that tickets for the occasion will be respected when the date is rescheduled.
