| Josh Trank has left the Star Wars universe. |
Trank was situated to direct the second spinoff in the new arrangement of movies. In an announcement posted on the official Star Wars site, Trank composed:
"After a year of having the unbelievable honor of creating with the sublime and capable individuals at Lucasfilm, I'm settling on an individual choice to get up and go on an alternate way. That said, the Star Wars universe has dependably been one of my greatest impacts, and I couldn't be more eager to witness its future nearby my a huge number of kindred Star Wars fans. I need to thank my companions Kathleen Kennedy, Kiri Hart, Simon Kinberg, and everybody at Lucasfilm and Disney for the astounding chance to have been a piece of this. Might the Power be with all of you."
